This past year was a time of unwavering growth. I was the first hire at a DTC growth agency startup named Fluency Firm. I got to work with some of my favorite e-commerce brands like Humanrace by Pharrell, CARBON 38, Better Booch, and others. I learned how to run and hire a team of 10. I learned how to put others first and nurture their career development. We closed our first year at the agency with 7+ figures in sales. I ended the year by taking a new job to work for MrBeast, the biggest Youtuber in the world, as the Director of Retention and e-Commerce Growth at his better-for-you snack brand, Feastables.
It was a year of many triumphs and tribulations. But all of this came at a cost. I selfishly put some friendships and relationships on the back burner. This is where I fell short in 2022. The memories I abstained from that I can’t take back. There’s a happy middle ground with all this that I’ve yet to figure out - and I’m at peace knowing I’ll find it. Young people like us should use this time to figure out how to navigate life.
In 2023, I have my sight set on a few things. I want to help Feastables become a household name in everyone's pantry. I want to start documenting my learnings, mistakes, and failures on platforms like Tik Tok and Twitter. I want to expand my network and use that to help everyone in my circle succeed. And most importantly, I want to enjoy life with those around me who I love.
